Dr. Farah completed his sleep medicine fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed his internal medicine training at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. He was chosen by his peers as one of "D" Magazine's "Best Doctors in Dallas 2008" in Sleep Medicine. He is board certified in Sleep Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, The American College of Physicians, The American Medical Association, The Dallas County Medical Society, and The American College of Chest Physicians. He is also a Board Certified diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Farah graduated from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and did his undergraduate work at The University of Texas at Austin and The University of London. Dr. Farah has extensive experience in clinical research having participated as an investigator for numerous cutting edge pharmaceutical trials and clinical studies in the field of sleep medicine and also has experience as a faculty member at UT Southwestern Medical School where he taught medical students in Clincal Medicine courses.
Dr. Farah is a nationally known expert and television commentator on sleep medicine topics. He is a frequent guest on national and local television news programs on networks such as CNN, NBC, and FOX as well as other news media discussing topics related to sleep medicine. He also spends time lecturing the public and his fellow physicians on sleep medicine topics. Dr. Farah lives in Dallas and enjoys traveling and photography in his free time.
